Join a passionate and professional hospitality team! We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Catering Assistant to join our team on a casual basis. This hands-on role offers variety across milk and catering deliveries, kitchen hand duties, stock management, and kitchenette support across the campus. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of dedicated professionals. If you are reliable, organised, flexible, and take pride in providing friendly, efficient service, we want to hear from you! A current Food Handlers Certificate is required, and support can be provided to obtain one if needed. Your Role Will Include: Deliver milk and other items to all campus kitchenettes. Assist with catering orders, including preparation, set-up, delivery and clearing. Perform stock management duties, including receiving goods, correct storage, rotation (FIFO), and stocktake tasks. Monitor and maintain correct temperatures for perishable items and comply with food safety requirements. Maintain clean, organised, and well-stocked kitchenettes and storerooms. Provide friendly and efficient customer service, representing the organisation professionally. Supporting kitchen operations with kitchen hand duties. Promote a safe work environment by identifying, reporting, and managing hazards, and notifying management of potential risks. Complete required training and contribute positively to team culture and daily operations. What You’ll Bring: Proven experience in busy café kitchen or corporate hospitality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional presentation and customer service focus Food Handling/Food Safety knowledge or certification Ability to work both independently and in a team A proactive and positive attitude Shifts Available: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 13:30am Potentially extend hours when needed.
